Choose a grade level to access a month of free library lesson plans from Elementary Librarian.
Our free lesson plans focus on teaching library rules and procedures to learners. They are designed to be used at the beginning of the school year. However, they can also serve as great refreshers for students throughout the year.
These lessons are just a small sampling of what Elementary Librarian has to offer. In our elementary lessons, you will find topics ABC order and sight reading sight words. You'll also discover fun elementary library lesson plans on research skills and citations, as well as the Dewey Decimal System, key reading strategies, and more.
