My September library lessons are now available. Isn't that great news? Don't forget to also check out the September resources page.
I've had lots of questions about my plans today, and I wanted to let you know that most of the answers exist on my Frequently Asked Questions page. You can always email me too.
What's Going On This Week?
I've been so busy getting September library lessons ready for you that I haven't had much time to think about what's going on in my library this week! Fortunately, I have my August plans to refer to and some free back-to-school worksheets to fill in any gaps. Students will be introduced to or reacquainted with our school library this week. We will discuss procedures of entering and exiting the room, and they will also get an assigned seat. Some people don't like to assign seats in the library, but I find that it helps me keep track of the students and keeps the chaos level to a minimum.
When September comes, I'll be glad to have my plans prepped and ready to go in advance. Then I can look forward to October and Halloween.
How's school going for you? Tell me about your first few days (if you've started) or share some of your favorite September library lessons in the comments!

Hi There!
This is my first time visiting your page and I am very interested in checking out your lessons! I signed up for the emails and I read that you have a couple of sample lesson plans? I can't seem to find these on the site and I would love to take a look before I commit to a whole month of lessons. Thanks!
